Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Upgraded with a New Co‑Axial Movement

Upgraded Co‑Axial Movement

Omega's new 30 mm Aqua Terra collection debuts two new in‑house calibers—Co‑Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8750 for stainless steel and two‑tone models, and the luxury‑finished caliber 8751 for full gold versions. Both movements measure just 20 mm in diameter, around 3.98 mm thick and were developed over four years. Each movement uses a free‑sprung balance with a silicon hairspring, offers a 48‑hour power reserve and has been METAS‑certified to withstand magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss【913004960434931†L168-L200】. Omega describes them as the smallest calibers ever to achieve both chronometer and Master Chronometer certification【913004960434931†L189-L200】.

Case & Dial Details

At 30 mm in diameter and about 10.6 mm thick, the new Aqua Terra mini sits compactly on the wrist yet retains the same build quality as its larger siblings. The polished stainless‑steel case features a wave‑edge caseback and is rated to 150 metres thanks to a screw‑in crown and robust gaskets. Omega offers a range of sun‑brushed lacquered dials—silver, blue, shell pink and champagne—paired with applied hour markers and hands in rhodium‑plated or 18 K Sedna™ gold. A trapezoidal date window sits at six o’clock, while the integrated bracelet features a comfort‑release micro‑adjustment.
