New Release: IWC Big Pilot Green Dial

After the much hyped TOP GUN collection launch at Watches and Wonders earlier this year, IWC released a new version of the Big Pilot’s Watch 43 in a stainless steel case with a “racing green” dial and matching rubber straps.

We can certainly say that 2022 is a colourful year for IWC. Earlier in the year IWC launched its “Colors of TOP GUN” collection covering chronographs with striking green and white ceramic. This summer IWC has revealed a new, very green model: the Big Pilot’s Watch 43 (going with the Ref. IW329306).

The most notable trait is the green dial and a green matching rubber strap making the watch standing out from their line-up.

Christian Knoop explains the green comes as inspiration by “racing green” hue used to paint British racing cars since the beginning of the last century. This model presents rhodium-plated hands with luminescence make the dial easier to read at night . The watch is powered by calibre 82100 with a power reserve of 60 hours.

The green dial Big Pilot’s Watch 43 will be available from June 2022 exclusively online at IWC.com and in IWC boutiques.
