Grand Seiko Released Four Nature Inspired Watches For the US Market

Grand Seiko launched four new US exclusives taking inspiration from nature with dial colours inspired by Japan's nature.

There will be a vivid blue and one emerald green dial Ryūsendō which both take inspirataion from the namesake lake being one of Japan's largest limestone caverns.


SBGK017 Anthracite

The SBGK017 takes its anthracite shade and texture from traditional ironware from Morioka.


SBGK015

The SBGK015 takes its color from the underground lakes of the same name.

SBGJ261 Peacock

The SBGJ261 Peacock offers a vibrant blue dial with hints of purple,

SBGJ259 Lush Green

The SBGJ259 Lush Green lush green dial and vivid green GMT hand from a bamboo grove at Tokyo’s Nezu Museum and Garden.

SBGK015 and SBGK017

The SBGK015 will be a limited production of 250 pieces with suggested prices of $7,500 USD. The SBGK017 instead will be part of the ongoing US catalogue and it will be priced at $8,900 USD.

SBGJ261 and SBGJ259

The SBGJ261 and SBGJ259 will have the same casing as the 44GS design, mounting Grand Seiko’s Hi-Beat GMT automatic Calibre 9S86 with a 55-hour power reserve and independent 24-hour GMT indication for the international city dwellers.
