Skeleton Concept has created a version of the Submariner "Hulk" for NFL player Antonio Brown. The French watch manufacturer specializes in customizations of Rolex watches for professional athletes.
According to the official page, Antonio Brown expressed to the Skeleton Concept team his love for the model. However, he felt it lacked a bit in the strength and stamina department. This inspired the watchmakers to customize the piece into a more intense, lively and vigorous watch perfect for the wide receiver.
The timepiece is a skeletonized version of the "HULK" 116610LV Submariner. It is housed in a 40 mm stainless steel case with a caliber 3135 movement with a 48-hour power reserve. It boasts a sapphire dial and a green chapter ring that matches the factory bezel. The date aperture and cyclops on the inside of the ring are all outlined in orange.
More details on the watch reference the NFL star. For example, "A. BROWN 81" is printed in white at the 9 o'clock position. Also, "ANTONIO BROWN" is embossed on the perimeter of the sapphire case back with the unique number "No. 1-55." At the hours "7" and "10" of the timepiece, the indices were removed, and numerals were printed on the sapphire glass—a nod to Brown's birthdate, July 10th.
The Rolex is limited to only 55 pieces and sells for $91,344.
